Shade Point
Shade Point is a review site for mysterious fiction. Roughly speaking, the misty borders and crossroads of crime and mystery, horror/supernatural and fantasy.
Review Statement
The site reviews bought books, and review copies from publishers or authors. It doesn't review books that weren't enjoyed in some way or another, and can't promise to review every book that arrives. Basically, that explains why there aren't any negative reviews on this blog; if I really don't like something, I just don't review it. I'm glad to receive books in the Shade Point genres, but only on the basis that it'll be okay if I decline to review if I'm not a fan. There are more than enough negative reviews of some books without adding to that here! Occasionally, a film or TV programme, game or comic might turn up on the page. It isn't too prescriptive. Reviewed books aren't always newly published.
Self-published books won't be reviewed, so I'm sorry about that.
